Cuadernos de SEPLA is the official academic journal of the Society of Political Economy of Latin America and the Caribbean (SEPLA). The journal serves as a vital platform for the dissemination of critical thought and theoretical-practical debate regarding the Latin American reality. Its primary goal is to analyze the region's economic, social, and political processes from a critical political economy perspective, tackling issues such as dependency theory, imperialism, the crises of capitalism, regional development, and alternatives to neoliberalism.
Closely linked to the history of SEPLA (founded in 2005), the journal strives to reclaim and modernize the tradition of Latin American social thought. It serves as a vehicle for researchers, educators, and activists dedicated to transforming power structures and promoting the sovereign integration of the peoples of the Americas.
